Lazy Sundays

On Sundays, my hubby wubby doesn't let me touch the remote control. We only have 1 TV and he automatically gets all day dibs on Sunday Football. I would like to watch my Korean drama which i rented last night, but I have to wait until the jets game is over. I hope he reads this blog and realizes he needs to be nicer on Sundays. I could cause havoc in my house and start arguing about this, but now that I'm wifey...I pick and choose my battles wisely.

On top of my Christmas Wish List for a Sealy Postropedic bed, I would like my own private 62 inch Samsung HDTV.

On a lighter note, I made an angel for my christmas tree today. Please see below:

It is the ANGEL OF GEORGE WASHINGTON, He is watching over our nation during this recession.

That's all I have to say today. Toodles.

The NEW TIMBS!

One thing I learned about the east coast is that TIMBERLANDS is no joke. Everyone from Harlem to Tenefly wore Timbos. When I was in Seattle and Texas, not many people wore these shoes, and it was more of a granola thing. Not here, people were wearing these even in the summer. Now that times are changing, it seems like the BUTTA WHEAT CHUKKA TIMBS are out the door. So sad, i bet the company made bazillion dollars off this trend like the AF1's. Now brands like Creative Rec, Supra, and Nike have come up in the game with more contemporary hardboot alternatives. And you know people like Jim Jones are gonna be rockin' these in the VIDEOS. The streets are talkin: Creative Recreation Dio Boots

Nike Goadomes

Nike Goadera (Kinda similar to the Goadome's, but kinda not SON) Dr. Martin 8 Eye Black (something for the punks, skinheadz, and hipsters)

And for the modern day sneaker dood still in love with the BUTTA CRACK WHEAT color....SUPRA SKYTOP WHEATIES

Yes, and these PUPPIES are dropping today at OUTNUMBER.

And last but not least, something for the ladies. (Even though it's gross looking and i would never wear these, at least someone out there is representing!)

Gobble Gobble from OutNo Wifey!

Happy Thanksgiving! I have many things to be thankful for this year, but my biggest kudos to God is for my family and health! I'm ready to eat some turkey and slip on the pajama pants. I should tell my hubby wubby to order some ill pajama pants for the OUTNUMBER dudes.

Anyways, I am officially in charge of updating the daily blog for OutNo. Yeah! My first job and not even getting paid. The sales this week are bananas! I want to dish my little pennies for a new Sealy Posture Premier Luxemburg Plush Pillow Top, you know Ill be asking my penny-pinching suga daddy for it.

Speaking of Sales.....Outnumber is offering 20% off ALL ITEMS! Say WHA?!?!?!? Yes, including sale items. What better time to purchase some new kicks and jeans! And if you spend $75 or more, there is free shipping. Beats waiting in lines, fighting for parking spots, and wading through boxes of shoes. At least guys don't go as crazy in the shoe salon like women. I heart ONLINE SHOPPING!

Okie, time to get ready to go to in-lawz. Luckily, my hubby's mom is not old skool korean and doesn't make me COOK and CLEAN their house like what my other girls go through. I bought her some nice wine glasses and comfy pajamas. Hopefully she will nod in approval!

SKATE IT

Skate It has Nintendo players riding with the skate pros, owning the best spots in San Vanelona and pulling off the sickest tricks using the popular FlickIt controls. Loaded with all-new gameplay features, Skate It breaks new ground by introducing innovative support for the Wii Balance Board which gives players a fresh way to create their own signature skateboarding style. Skate It unleashes the FlickIt revolution on to the Nintendo platforms, letting gamers use the Wii remote or the Nintendo DS stylus to string together their best tricks for the ultimate skate line. The Wii remote becomes a skateboard and reacts to gestures that mirror actual skate flips and moves. Players can also deepen this experience by planting their feet on the Wii Balance Board. Skate It brings the Skate franchise to a new level of creative ingenuity and gameplay excellence. [Electronic Arts]

Terry Kennedy who rides for Supra & Kr3w is part of Skate IT.
Here is his Bio:

Terry Kennedy might well be the hardest working skater out there. Whether he's skateboarding, acting, or using his street smarts, Terry Kennedy has his eyes on the prize. A naturally-gifted skateboarder, Kennedy gives it everything he's got, a philosophy he applies to anything he does in life...

Quote:

"All I can tell people is don't let nobody bring you down. Hold your head up. Whatever you want to do, do it. I look at myself like&ahellip;I came from nothing, seriously nothing. There's always stuff out there to be done. If you want to be a skater and it's not working out, there's always something else. You got talent. Always. Hold your head up, thug it out. Just hope for the best. Always."

Danny Way who rides for DC Shoes is a skater on Skate It. Here is his Bio.

We've all posed the question, "Who is the greatest skater of all time?" Some might say there is no such thing. Others will argue that skateboarding visionary Danny Way, without a doubt, has come closest to owning this title. Throughout his impressive skateboarding history, D-Way has been winning competitions since he was 11-years-old. Repeatedly breaking numerous world records, including his own, Danny Way experiments with, and innovates skateboarding like no one else.

Quote:

"Skateboarding has really been a blessing for me because it's given me the freedom in life to be who I want to be&ahellip;I'm not trying to go out and be some hotshot showman. I really love skateboarding, I love what skateboarding stands for. The contributions I make to my sport are very well thought-out and done in respect to where I come from&ahellip; You can walk out of your house and jump on the thing and you're on your way. It's cheap, it doesn't need an engine, doesn't need gas. You can throw it in a closet, in the trunk of a car. There are not too many other things that can give you the fulfillment that is that at your fingertips, literally. You're on your way. A lot of fun and freedom."

Shaun White Snowboarding Game

Shaun White Snowboarding: Road Trip takes the action-sports genre to a whole new level. For the first-time ever, feel the rocky weight of the mountain push up against your toes in your very own living room, -with the revolutionary Wii Balance Board. Whether you’re coasting down bunny slopes or carving through black diamonds, don’t expect to survive this wild ride alone – you will need the support of an entourage and friends to make it down this mountain.

Shaun White has invited you on a snowboarding road trip. The trip begins in Canada, then heads to Chile, to an area based on the Alps, to Japan, and ends in Park City, Utah. Park City is associated with Shaun so Ubisoft wanted to end the journey there. This is where you finally catch up with him and can compete against the world champion. If you are deemed worthy you can unlock Shaun and use him as a playable character. There will be new challenges if you play through the game again as Shaun.

So you hop in a van with a couple buddies, and as you travel the world you can pick your character and your cameramen. When you're riding, the view you see is what your cameraman is recording as he follows behind. Each camera operator will provide the player a different power-up. The character you choose to ride as determines your skill. So you'll want to select the best pair for each challenge. There are around 11 riders to choose from. They are unlocked by proceeding through the main game and also through multiplayer.

The camera will capture the last 30 seconds of each run, and you can view this footage back in your van. The van acts as your hub throughout the game and it can be upgraded along the way. You select destinations from your map and check emails on your laptop.
