I signed up for ping pong lessons at church. It is sponsored by KM, so all our fellow peers are old mamas and papas. The instructor is world champion ping pong master hailing from Alaska. At least that's what i think i interpreted. Everyone speaks korean so i say neh, neh, neh throughout the whole class. So far, the teacher has been teaching me form, so i can feel the rhythm of the ping pong ball. My hits are okay, but I had trouble making the ball land in the correct part of the table. There is also an old woman instructor, and when I first saw her, I was so skeptical if she could teach me anything cuz in the beginning of class she was making us do those retarded korean exercises that grandmas and grandpas do at church functions. like when you throw your arms in huge circles and take deep breaths. this lady decided to take me aside and give me a one on one instruction in her tight capri leggings. korean ajuhma was hitting the ball like chinese players. i was shocked. like dodging bullets. it's quite a shame that i got schooled by someone 4x's my age. nevertheless, instructor reassured me that i'd get as good as her one day. I will get there.
